BETA BRAIN WAVES

There are 5 Humane Brain Waves frequency – Theta, Delta, Alpha, Beta, and Gamma.

Beta waves are high frequency, low amplitude waves ( 13H2 – 30H2 ) which are commonly observed during awaken states like alert, focused on any tasks, in debate etc. These waves usually function during mental states of intellectual activiy, procressing any information and during concentration.

Function of Beta Waves

  • High beta activites including anxiety, stress consists higher end of the range partecularly between ( 20 – 30H2 )
  • Beta waves involved in the motor cortex ( Motor control ) especially planning and executing movement
  • Thes waves are involved in tasks which require higher concentration, logical thinking, simantanesus responses and problem solving.
  • These waves more in functoning when a person is in awake and alert situation for example :- during conversation or specfically debate.

TYPES OF BETA WAVES

  1. LOW BETA ( 13H2 – 15H2 ) focused yet relaxed rind of mental state.
  2. MID BETA ( 15 – 18H2 ) increased focus and mental activity.
  3. HIGH BETA ( 18 – 30H2 ) associated with higher level of alertness or potentially including anxiety.

Potential Issues a person might face becouse of BETA Waves

  • Excessive Beta waves :- Excessive release of Beta waves or doing high mental activites may results in anxiety and mental fatigue.
  • Lack of Beta activites – Lack of Beta activites can affectes the ability of a person to perform any mental tasks which requres higher concentration

CONTROLLING BETA WAVES

Here are some ways to regulate Beta waves activity :-

  1. Meditation and mindfullness : It is the very obvious and most popular practice which can used to enhanced Beta and regulating anxiety and stress.
  2. Neurofeedback trrainning : It is uses EEG which help to train brain to produce more beta waves.
  3. Bright light in the morning or exposure to light can enhance alertness and Beta avtivites.
  4. Stmulants like caffeine and other can helps in increasing beta waves but exessive use of this can also cause harm to our health.
  5. Listening to audio ( around 14 – 30H2 ) helps in cintrolling beta waves.

HOW TRADITIONAL RELIGIOUS PRACTICES HELPS IN ENHANCING BETA WAVES

We all see the bells in temple which releases some frequency sounds ( around 12H2 – 15H2 ) or more depending to their sizes, their sounds helps to reduce anxiety and improve alertness.

Yoga – the vedic yoga asana which primarily starts from meditation and chanting of ‘om’ concentration pressure of nerves osillations and phonic sound connects us from the universe – helps to improve concentration and enhance Beta waves.

The other example are physical work, vedic maths, reciting practices etc.

Generating Beta waves simaltaneously and controlling them is both necessary and person working in the field like reporting, debates, students preparing for exams, cooperative employers etc. needs to mid beta frequency to give better results.
